See it Differently
Today we received this encouraging email from the Grandmother of one of the children the Ranch has had the privilege to walk alongside for the last several years. This wonderful woman and her family have walked through an enormous amount of hardship and suffering. Over and over she has chosen to “see it differently”. We are grateful for her joy, her perspective, and for urging us – by her example, to continually choose the lens of faith regardless of our circumstances. Thank you, Lynn!
“I looked down at the floor of my car and there was a small pile of hay. I had taken my granddaughter out to the ranch for a session. When it was over and she got into the car, off came the boot and out came a pile of hay on to the floor.
I got busy that week and didn’t have time to clean my car. As I jumped in it this morning to start my day I looked down and there was that pile of hay.My first reaction was, Argh! I should’ve vaccumed my car.
I drove for a little while thinking about that hay. Slowly my mind began to change.
I began to see it differently. It became a wonderful reminder of God‘s goodness, his mercy , his kindness and so many things that He is in my life and the life of my granddaughter.
God led us to Refuge ranch. He has blessed us with their love and caring. How very grateful I am for Him and the hearts of those at Refuge Ranch. What a lesson from a pile of hay!
I think I’ll leave that hay in my car for a little while longer!”
