We'll take it off your hands! De-clutter your life
and help out a great cause at the same time!
Has it been years since you were able to park your
car in the garage? Is your house so cluttered that
your family is threatening to have you on an
episode of ‘Hoarders’? We can help!
Tack-a-holics? Do you have 20 halters, and only
1 horse? If you have 5 saddles and only one back
side, if you can no longer open the door to your
tack room for all the stuff, we can help!
We are already collecting donations for the
annual Refuge Ranch benefit garage and tack sale
which will be held May 4 & 5 at 313 Winter Park,
Chatham, IL. We are accepting your gently used
children's clothing, household goods, horse tack,
etc. Refuge is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
which means that on top of the warm fuzzies
you'll get from doing a good deed, all of your
donations are tax deductible!
Items can be dropped of at the Ranch by
appointment. We are also looking for individuals
or churches who are willing to set up a collection
drive for donations for the sale. If you are
interested: email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Remi is one of 26 severely neglected horses
that were turned over to the Central Illinois
these were the lucky ones. Nearly a dozen
other horses were found on the property
This poor boy came to us completely
emaciated, lacking any body fat and muscle.
In addition, he arrived with a horrific lice
infestation that has left him with huge bald
patches over his body.
Remi has come a long way since his arrival.
He is now a healthy weight, has learned to
lead nicely, and is learning to accept fly
spray, baths, and general handling. We
hope to get him started under saddle this
To the many churches, businesses, and individuals who have come alongside the Ranch
to support us with services, donations, prayers and encouragement, there is no way we
could express our gratitude fully. Without you we could not possibly continue to offer
our services, free of charge to horses, kids, and families in central Illinois. The following
list are those who donated items for our silent auction, or stepped up as sponsors of our
5th annual Mane Event. Despite rain all around us, the weather remained beautiful at
the Ranch for most of the day and we had a fantastic turn out. Thank you to these
awesome businesses and individuals for your support!
